Following a review of the expenses associated with the State Referee Program and proposed referee development initiatives, the State Referee Committee has approved an increase of $5 to the clinic fees for referees, assessors and instructors for the 2009 certification year.  The program has not had a fee increase in five years.  Also, assignors will be charged an administrative fee of $15 in addition to the US Soccer registration fee to help cover program costs.  This is the first adjustment to the fee for assignors in the history of the Metro DC-Virginia State Referee Program.
