State Referee Administrator
The Metro-DC Virginia State Referee Program leadership position of the State Referee Administrator (SRA) will become vacant as of September 1, 2007. In accordance with United States Soccer Federation policies, the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) and Metropolitan-DC Virginia Soccer Association (MDCVSA) appoint the State Referee Administrator to serve at their discretion for a two year term. The SRA is responsible for the operations and administration of the State Referee Program and serves as liaison between the Federation’s Referee Committee and the State Referee Committee. Interested applicants should submit a resume of their professional experience, soccer experience, a narrative explaining why the applicant is seeking the position, and what the applicant’s goals will be if appointed as SRA. These documents must be sent to Denise Edwards (firstname.lastname@example.org) and Jim Sadowski (email@example.com) not later than Friday, July 20, 2007. It is expected that each applicant will be interviewed and, if a suitable applicant is identified, the appointment will be made sometime in mid-late August 2007.
