Referee Event at Washington Freedom

The Washington Freedom, our local professional women’s team, is playing the Canadian National Team this Sunday, May 23, at 5:00 PM in the George Mason University stadium. Tickets are only $20 and include a second free ticket to the Freedom vs St Louis match on July 10 at the Maryland Soccerplex. These tickets are general admission... you sit where you want.

After the game, referees and their guests are invited to meet with the four match officials for a Q & A session. This is an opportunity to hear about the game from the referee’s perspective, and learn about match incidents that you won’t read about in the paper the next day. The after-game session is designed for all referees, youth and adult, novice and experienced.

The referee event is free, but limited to those who pre-register and receive a colored wristband before the game.
