Patrick McFall is our New State Referee Registrar. Patrick began his referee career in 2012, quickly rising to Senior State Referee (Grade 5) before becoming a referee assignor, instructor, and assessor (now referee coach). He has officiated youth, high school, college, and the highest amateur/semi-pro level matches in Virginia. He previously served as the DCV Referee Assignor Liaison.
The State Referee Registrar is responsible for overseeing the administrative and technical needs of the State Referee Program; verifying and processing registration records for referees, referee coaches, mentors, and assignors; upgrading and downgrading officials; and recruiting and retaining officials to ensure coverage on all affiliated games. The registrar is also responsible for administering the Risk Management Program.
Patrick replaces Tom Frank, who is retiring after 14 years as the State Registrar. Read more about Tom’s half-century of service to the soccer community at the VA-DC Soccer Hall of Fame.
